25 Years Later

The Commodore 64 is 25 years old today. My friend Paul had one and I would spend hours at his house playing on it. It all started with learning those simple little lines of code to change the screen color and to repeat the line over and over. D & D was really popular then so we wrote a choose your own adventure program we thought was wicked cool, the problem was we knew where all the paths lead so it wasn’t much fun playing.

They game we really enjoyed was Wizard of Wor.

Update: I just learned the Wizards of Wor is on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for the Gamecube ; that is so now on my Christmas wish list. BTW, this post makes me feel REALLY old.
